The video post....

David and Lorelei at gym class, they really loved this bar!!! The kids enjoying a visit from Uncle Mike, not sure if he enjoyed it! Kacey and Dash swimming across his pool. And here she is swimming the length of the pool after a week of swimming class! The beginning of a game called Hug-Fall. The kids started this back in Massachusetts and have been playing it ever since. Yep, they hug then they fall.

A long picture post...

Going through some old pics and I came across these.

So far in our new house.

I can't wait to move in!!! But we have to wait til Friday. In the meantime we have been unpacking stuff we drive over (the less the movers move, the less $$ we pay!) So we are spending alot of time there. My mom takes the kids swimming and I do stuff. It was nice to have Jamie home for the weekend, he was able to do a ton too so alot got accomplished this weekend.

First, the stuff Kacey cares about. She saw a deer over our backyard fence.
Uncle Tom found this snake for her. She really wanted to keep it but we convinced her it is a wild animal and would not actually enjoy living in our new house!

I ordered these reuseable stickers for the kids rooms, David got Thomas and Kacey got horses. Kacey put them up in David's room for him. :)

Kacey got to practice some letters on the wall before the final coat went on.

The pic doesn't do it justice. It really turned out pretty. Pink and purple with a faux white chair rail.

I got this train table on Craigs list for $80, So cool for the kids to have their own rooms so David can actually have this in his room! His room is almost done, just needs his bed!

Kacey really liked putting the horse stickers up. She had originally picked pink horses but then changed her mind. "Mommy, I want the brown ones because the pink ones will blend in with my pink walls. They will be camouflaged." Such a smart girl.

She is also enjoying her new room. She and Nana played picnic for quite a while!

Yes, I will admit I have neglected my blog. I go through ebbs and flows with it and lately it's been a very big ebb. Almost 6 months ago, Jamie and I decided to sell our house and move. Our house is 2 bed and one tiny bathroom. It's very charming and has a wonderful front porch, master bedroom and lovely backyard. It's in a terrible school district, the kids have to share a room and it's old and needs updating. So even though there was stuff we liked, it's just too small and with Kacey starting Kinder next year, we had to make a decision. We'd rather put money into a new house in a better area than pay for private school. So we sold our house and found our forever home!!!

This week we got the keys and have started work. Fortunately we sold our house to an investor so we have been able to rent it back while settling the new house. We have 2 weeks to do everything we want to then the big move!! So very excited! The new house has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and is in a great school district. The location is lovely, it's at the end of a cul-de-sac in the mountains. Our backyard overlooks a canyon with a mountain beyond it. 2 doors down is the community pool we get to use and then the mountains beyond that. I am sooooo in love with our new home and just can't wait to move in!

Here is the living room with the sellers furniture in it.
Today we got to painting, here are Jamie and Kacey in David's room.
Rolling hills with a blue sky. Next we'll paint some train tracks and a train!!!
Stay tuned for more changes!!!

Mary Poppins and Uncle Mike

GG got tickets for us to see Mary Poppins!!!! Kacey looked forward to it and had fun getting all dressed up. I was very happy with how good she was. The show was a bit over 2.5 hours with an intermission. For the first half she sat staring! She only got fidgety for the last half hour and even then wasn't too bad. When asked her favorite part she would just say "All of it!!!!"

THANKS GG!!!!

Here she is in front of the fountains at the Music Center

Getting ready with Nana and GG
Checking out the theater, she was impressed by the balconies above.
Kacey and me before the show.
We also went shopping for GG's birthday and Kacey found this mirror.

Later in the week, Nana's brother Mike came to visit. The kids did not want him to leave!!!!

My little model

Dashell's mommy, Gwynn does amazing printables and designs and sometimes uses Kacey for the photo shoot. Kacey LOVES doing this as she seems to be a sucker for attention. This latest shoot was adorable! If you want to see more check out her site. Gwynn Wasson Designs
